Amazon Tree Boa
Corallus hortulanus
One of the most fascinating tree-dwelling species and a favorite among advanced reptile collectors. The Amazonian Tree Boa stands out for its incredible color variation, ranging from mustard yellow and bright orange to gray and brown patterns (the “Garden” and “Colored” phases). They are nocturnal animals with a slender build and large eyes, ideal for display in vertical rainforest terrariums. Although they require experience in handling due to their defensive temperament, their high aesthetic value ensures quick turnover in specialty stores.
